Broxtowe Women’s Project is proud to announce our new partnership with Newthorpe Medical Practice, a respected healthcare provider serving patients across Eastwood, Newthorpe, Giltbrook, Nuthall, Watnall, Kimberley, Awsworth and the surrounding communities.

Both organisations share a common goal: supporting the health, wellbeing and safety of local people. Through this partnership, we will work together to raise awareness of domestic abuse, improve access to support services and help ensure that individuals experiencing abuse know where they can turn for help.

Healthcare professionals are often among the first people to recognise when someone may be experiencing domestic abuse. By building stronger links between healthcare services and specialist support organisations, we can help create more opportunities for early intervention, support and recovery.

At Broxtowe Women’s Project, we know that domestic abuse affects every aspect of a person’s wellbeing, including their physical health, mental health, confidence and ability to live independently. Having trusted community partners such as Newthorpe Medical Practice helps us reach more people and ensure that support is available when it is needed most.
