Postcode Lottery Donation
On Saturday 18th May 2024, we saw Newthorpe, Nottinghamshire win the £1 million prize from ‘People’s Postcode Lottery’. In addition to those lucky winners other local charities have benefitted including our very own charity Broxtowe Women’s Project.
“When I got the call from Patrick from the Postcode Lottery I was overwhelmed and one of the best unexpected calls of my life, I still can’t believe it! Thank you is such a small thing to say for such an incredibly amazing donation to our charity but we’re thrilled to be chosen.
We do a vast amount of work in our community but this has enabled us to do more, and it gives us options. I’m also delighted that some local people will benefit from life changing money.” Colette Byrne CEO
