As a charity partner to BWP, your organisation can make a tangible and measurable difference to the lives of women, children and young people impacted by Domestic Abuse.

Support from our charity partners allows BWP to empower more women to live lives free from Domestic Abuse through our unique holistic, wrap-around approach, that results in long-term, meaningful positive change.

Charity of the Year Partnership

You could choose Broxtowe Women’s Project as your organisation’s Charity of the Year.

Bird & Blend chose us as their Charity of the Year for 2023, supporting our work through sales of their products, supporting us at events – like on International Women’s Day 2023 – and sharing details of our services with their customers.

Fundraising

Fundraising at work is a great way for colleagues to come together and do something fun or challenging, knowing they’re making a big difference to others as they do so.

Automotive fabric technology company, Lear, have supported us in this way, providing the women we support with vital food packages and Christmas gifts.

Your organisation could take part in the Super 16 Business Challenge – compete against other local businesses to raise the most money!

Creating joint strategic goals

We can work together long-term to create shared goals, such as bringing change to local communities, building campaigns which help people living with Domestic Abuse, or raising awareness to help prevent and end Domestic Abuse.

We work with Nottinghamshire Football Association in this way, working together to deliver Domestic Abuse awareness sessions within grassroots football to change attitudes and behaviours, and prevent and reduce violence against women and girls. We supported Nottinghamshire FA to become the first county FA to become White Ribbon Accredited.

Sharing your expertise

By sharing your expertise with our colleagues and volunteers, you could shape our future work – making a big impact on the survivors we support.

Barefoot Coaching support us in this way, providing regular coaching support to the BWP leadership team and wider staff, and supporting us at partnership events.

In return, we are working with them to extend Domestic Abuse knowledge within coaching practices, and coaching practices into Domestic Abuse training.
