World Book Night 2024. The Power of Words.
As part of World Book Night 2024 we are launching our Power of Words project.
The ‘Power Of Words’ project aims to provide an improved access to reading & writing to the women we work with.
The project will use creative workshops, interactive exhibitions, word walks, pop-up book events, drawing & photography to make reading and creative writing the focus of this work.
The project was launched during World Book Night’s reading hour and to celebrate this we were lucky enough to have excerpts read to us, from their own publications, by Samantha Beckinsale, Adam Goodman-Smith and Sandra Reddish.
